On January 21, 2008 a massive DDoS attack was directed at our main web server. It overloaded a primary internet backbone router that connects the datacenter to the internet backbone and affected potentially thousands of other sites in the process. The authorities have been notified about the attack.

Currently all PBBans services are offline and there is no ETA on when they will be restored. No data was lost so please bare with us as we work to restore service.

Should you need to contact us we can be found on IRC at #pbbans on quakenet. We are currently looking for a new provider if you know some or are interested please contact RodeoBob at pbbans(at)hotmail(dot)com.

All progress updates will be posted here as soon as they are made available. We thank you for your patience in this matter.

We have yet to find a new home that will co-locate our two servers that can offer the network requirements and protection we need at a price we can afford.

We have decided that should an affordable host not be found in the very near future PBBans will have no choice but to close it's doors.

Should we have to close our doors we would like to extend our thanks to all the supporters as you made our site what it is today.

The issues with Sprint have been resolved. We are now under contract to pay a monthly fee and purchase new hardware. PBBans relies heavily on donations from supporters and we would like to thank you for all of the well wishes and look forward to seeing you soon.

All services should be restored on Friday, January 25, 2008. Once online we will change our DNS information to point to our main servers.

We received many hosting offers and we want to thank all the people who offered in our time of need. We will keep these people in mind for future expansions of PBBans.

Just hit PBBans and it looks like they are up and operational.  I am not sure if the hubs are working 100% but the website and the forums are back in action.

Today PBBans was hit with a second DDoS attack. We have no choice but to move to a new host which has a much bigger pipe to the internet and more protection. We are moving our servers to a California datacenter and the current ETA is 7-10 days. This is not good but required for us to remain online.

Currently all PBBans services are offline. No data was lost so please bare with us as we work to restore service in the next few weeks.

All hardware has arrived at the datacenter and the servers are currently being installed. We expect streaming to resume tommorow providing no hardware issues are found.

Welcome back to PBBans. After a two week "vacation" we are now back and ready to bust the cheating punks again.

All systems are online including the MPI, Streaming, the works. New game based signatures are also live. Please check your servers in the account manager to be sure you're good to go.

We are still working out the bugs as we redid our server structure. So welcome back everyone.
