    Re: NO CHEAT SIGN

THanks Crazy56 for the offer but the 3D work is done... the problem is the pixels which you have a few too, but yours aren't that noticeable.  Here's what I have with a transparent background (no animation)>

You can see it's very pixelated at the edges (and BIG pixels, lol), unlike jarhead's sig which is totally smooth... what we're after is how that is done.  It should be a simple question now, it might be a new feature of the latest PhotoShop, i use CS2.  It's not that the pixels are bad either, it's just if you're going to try and spread the logo around to lots of clans, it should be as perfect as possible imo.

If i can figure out what to do, then I can justify making some variations with different designs and messages.

I think that may have been done with a simple GIF animator.  I know I have done some things a few years ago with a GIF animator that didn't really have any pixelation in them....unfortunately I don't have the software nor do I have my work anymore either, lol.

        Re: NO CHEAT SIGN

I received an answer from http://www.gamingsigs.net to use PNG instead of GIF... here's the result:

Looks great and how I was hoping.  Now to see if PNG accepts animations like GIFs which is the next question I'm waiting for an answer to.

GIF is great to create a very low file size, and if you keep the background color it's not a problem, but PNG is the way to go if you want the background to be transparent to pick up on the colors of other websites, but the file sizes are larger.  We'll probably offer several options depending on what a clan thinks is important.

thanks for the help, will keep you posted.

You can animate PNG files, but I have not yet done so but I have found some sites that should be of interest to you:

Also note, you may need to view the above sites using FireFox as I am not sure that IE will allow it.

I'd say the 2nd one on the left would look very nice without the black background
